Cat. #00350421: G.D. SPRADLIN

Uncommon handwritten note with a mattable signature in red ballpoint pen on an unevenly-trimmed 4.75 x 8-inch portion of a letter sent to him by a fan. Only the signature from the fan's original letter remains. In fine condition, with some light mailing folds and handling dings. Note that the image of the star shown alongside the scan of the autograph here is not actually included with the item. Busy character actor G.D. Spradlin, instantly recognizable due to his distinctive Oklahoman accent and flinty voice, was typically cast as corrupt, power-drunk authority figures. Highlights of his film career include Tora! Tora! Tora! (1970), The Hunting Party (1971), The Godfather: Part II (1974), MacArthur (1977), The Trial of Lee Harvey Oswald (1977), Apocalypse Now (1979), The Lords of Discipline (1981), The War of the Roses (1989), and Tim Burton's Ed Wood (1994).
